Happy Mother's Day to all the wonderful mother's out there!
Wanted to wish an especially magnificent Mother's Day to my lovely mom and sister.
My mom is my strength, my rock, a woman I look up to as a person in general. My mother has a heart that's bigger than her, she's self-less, hard-working and a "hustler" like I always call her because she makes miracles happen. As many young women I wouldn't be the person I am today without the help and support of my mother.
I was blessed to not have one wonderful mom in my life but two because my older sister was basically my mom growing up. She helped me with my homework, read me bed-time stories, fed me, ironed our school uniforms, cleaned my room, took me shopping and countless other "motherly" things. With all that my sister did for me one would think we had a 10-15 year age difference but my sister is only 5 years older than me! My sister has a kind heart and maternal nature, I always knew she would be a wonderful mom and with the birth of her first child, my nephew, Zachary, I was proven right. She is a wonderful sister but an even more beautiful mother.
My sister and I couldn't have been any closer growing up, we were attached at the hip and when she got married it physically and emotionally hurt me not having her around ALL the time. I now understand my sister is busy being the best mom she could possibly be to my nephew and soon to be niece.
I could NEVER re-pay all that my mom and sister have done for me but I strive to be like them each and every day, some days I fail miserably but some days I feel myself becoming the women they are today and I know I would be one amazing person if I can be just a half of what they are.
Now that this post has ended with me in tears, thanks so much for reading!
